Wanna get this off my chest before I work on this paper:
I have a date tomorrow.
Well, I saw the guy I like last week, having lunch. I decided to say hi and give him a hug. (He’s tall, so giving him a hug makes me feel better about my height! I digress) Anyway, I asked if he wanted to catch up. He said yes. It’s tomorrow. After I get off work. So… to pull an over-extensive analysis about tomorrow.
a) we catch up and have a great time. I ask him out to catch a movie either this friday or over the weekend.
b) we catch up and it was a bit awkward. i wait and see if he asks to hang out again.
c) we catch up and it’s really awkward. I get to watch drag race with my friends at SPIN anyway. That will cure my blues.
d) he knows that I like him and takes advantage of me after work. i’ve always wanted to fool around with someone at my workplace… hehe anyway, stuff happens and it’s awkward to look him in the eye after all that…
e) he doesn’t show up and i just go back to my place and cry about how lame I am.
f) option e happens because i don’t bother to text him earlier in the day to remind him about the plans.
I think for research purposes, I need to define what a pornstar constitutes. If someone is getting paid to perform sexual acts, then can a xtube amateur be considered a pornstar? Does having a feature film consider them a better star than one who only works for one site?
What is the line where some guy who has sex in front of a camera for quick cash to someone who gets contracts for films?
If I use the simple term, them there are A LOT of pornstars out there that needs to be researched and cataloged out there. If I use the definition with contracts and films, then I limit my research to those stars…
I feel as if I’ve created a new monster with my research. Time to beast it.
“American culture tells us, in short, that Lin shouldn’t exist. Every time he drives to the basket, he upends stereotypes of Asians as short, weak and nerdy. Every time he talks to the media, he dispels the idea that all Asian-Americans are like foreigners speaking broken English.”—Will Jeremy Lin’s success end stereotypes? - CNN.com (via timothywang)
